Hey Mamas it's your new mom bestie Kim, Can we just agree that we love being moms, but sometimes we become unfamiliar with ourselves..
Motherhood is a transformative journey filled with love, sacrifice, and growth, but many mothers lose their sense of identity and who they truly are. Self-rediscovery is a process that allows mothers to reconnect with themselves, their passions, and dreams. It involves taking personal time and space to reflect on who they are beyond their roles as mothers. By acknowledging our individuality, we can nurture our growth and well-being.
Seeking guidance from God is a powerful way to embark on self-rediscovery. By placing trust in Him, we can find new perspectives, inner strength, and a deeper understanding of our purpose. This spiritual connection allows us to explore our passions and pursue personal growth while fulfilling our responsibilities as mothers.
Self-rediscovery should be an ongoing process, focusing on self-care and activities that bring joy and fulfillment. By embracing our individuality and taking care of ourselves, we become better mothers and serve as positive role models for our children. By prioritizing self-care, seeking spiritual guidance, and nurturing our passions and dreams, we can find balance, fulfillment, and a renewed sense of purpose. By taking care of ourselves, we ultimately care for our family. With that said, Cheers to the beautiful journey of self-rediscovery!

This Labor Day weekend, I tried to be a Pinterest mom.
I wanted to do a fun activity with my boys and found an activity that required only two ingredients!
I decided we were going to make home-made "moon sand."
Honestly, things were going well for the first few minutes until I realized the clean-up was going to be a little messy.
Where I went wrong was not putting some kind of barrier, a sheet, or anything underneath the bins to make clean-up easy.
There was sand, or, should I say, flour, everywhere on the floor, the couches, and the kids.
Although clean-up was hectic, this activity was a 10/10 because my kids enjoyed it so much, especially my toddler. With the bins, we were able to reuse the moon side, and best believe we brought it out again the next day, but this time with a sheet underneath. Cleanup was a breeze.
